Privacy Policy
Plain-language privacy terms for Wheel Strategy Screener. Last updated June 13, 2026.
This policy describes how the current app handles information. It is written to reflect a data-minimization approach consistent with the FTC's guidance to keep only what is needed, protect it, and dispose of it when no longer needed.
Information stored in your browser
Custom CSP screener names, manual CSP symbols, and manual covered-call rows are stored in browser localStorage on your device. They are per browser/device and are not global website settings. Covered-call rows include the symbols, average costs, and contract counts you type.
Settings export and import
Settings export creates a JSON file that you control. Settings import reads a JSON file selected by you. Exported settings include strategy settings such as CSP screener names, selected screener, data source, Manual/Auto strategy source modes, portfolio value, and return targets. Older exported screener or robinhood source values import as Auto. Exported settings do not include manual CSP rows, covered-call rows, imported Robinhood positions, scan results, Robinhood quotes, helper status, session state, or CSV data.
Scan request information
During a scan, the browser may send selected screener names, manual ticker symbols, covered-call row inputs, imported Robinhood position rows, TradingView scan data, and Robinhood option quote values to the server so the app can calculate the table. The server treats this as request-only calculation data and does not use it as global saved settings.
Robinhood credentials and account sessions
Robinhood passwords, MFA codes, cookies, and account sessions are not sent to this site. The Chrome helper runs locally in your browser and reads visible screener symbols, account position rows, and option-chain quotes only.
Contact form information
If you submit the contact form, the site receives the name, reply email, subject, and message you provide. That message is sent by email to the site operator for support and feedback. Do not include brokerage passwords, MFA codes, account numbers, full screenshots with private financial information, or other sensitive personal information in a contact message.
Third-party sources
The app uses TradingView pages for price and target data and the user's open Robinhood web session through the local Chrome helper for visible screener symbols, stock position rows, and option quote values. Your use of Robinhood, TradingView, Chrome, and any email provider is also governed by those providers' own privacy practices.
Retention
Browser-local settings remain until you delete them, clear site data, switch browsers/devices, or import replacement settings. Scan results and option quote snapshots are not intentionally persisted by the app as user settings. Contact emails may be retained in the receiving email account as needed to respond and maintain support history.
Security
The app is designed to minimize sensitive data collection. Robinhood credentials stay in Chrome, not on this site. You should keep your browser, helper extension, operating system, and brokerage account secure, and remove the helper if you no longer want to use it.
User choices
- Use Mock mode without connecting to Robinhood.

Children's privacy
This tool is intended for adults who can independently evaluate options risk. It is not directed to children, and the operator does not knowingly collect information from children.
